• Christmas Evening

  Christmas festivities came to Bowlish Infant school tonight.  The hall was full of craft stalls and festive refreshments.  In classes there was a range of craft activities and festive fun for the children to take part in.  This annual fundraiser was made even more special with some festive singing that everyone joined in with.

  

• Children in Need Zumbathon

  To raise funds for Children in Need we have had a Zumbathon in school.  Each class took part in a 'zumba' session with Miss Read.  They followed a range of fun routines and enjoyed this way of raising money. 

  

• Remembrance Day

  Today the children took part in a Remembrance Assembly out on the playground.  Each class wrote a message of thanks and remembrance for soldiers who fought in wars to keep us safe.  The School Council presented the messages which were tied onto the poppies in our sensory garden.  A remembrance cross was also placed in the garden.  The children marked the two minute silence very thoughtfully.
