Late Arrival Procedure

It is important that children attend school regularly and arrive on time, ready to learn.

The school bell is rung at 8.50am and at this point the children should have been taken to their classroom. If children arrive at school after this time their parents should take them to the school office to be signed in.

Arrivals after 8.50am but before 9.00am are recorded in the register as a late arrival.

Arrivals into school after 9.00am are recorded as an unauthorised absence due to the child arriving after the time that the register is closed.

Unauthorised absences should be avoided in order to maintain good attendance.
