School Dinners

School Dinners
The children may have a hot meal or bring a packed lunch. In September 2014 Universal Free School meals were introduced for pupils until the end of Year 2. This means that all children attending Bowlish Infant School are entitled to a free school meal each day. Parents are requested to complete meal choices for their child. Meals are provided by The Fabulous Lunch Company, Wells.

Packed Lunches
Children may bring a packed lunch if they do not order a school meal. The children eat together in the school hall. Parents are asked to ensure that packed lunches provide a balanced midday meal for their child and do not contain sweets, chocolate bars or fizzy drinks.

Nut Free School

No items containing nuts can be placed in packed lunches or brought into school for any reason.  We need to ensure that pupils and adults in school with nut allergies are protected from the risks that products containing nuts will pose them.

Break Time Snacks
Children are provided with a free piece of fruit every day. Children are asked to bring a bottle of water to school and they will have access to this drink during the school day.

Free Milk for Under Fives

Milk is provided for your child free of charge up to their fifth birthday; however, this needs to be applied for. Please visit Cool Milk for further information.
