Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Bowlish Infant School.
I am very proud to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school and look forward to extending a warm welcome to you and your child.
We are a school with a rich history and strong child-centred culture. Our staff are passionate and our children vibrant. We have a fantastically supportive community of parents and Governors and value our extensive community connections.
Our children benefit from teachers who expertly structure their curriculums to be creative and engaging, and who deliver lessons passionately with the support of dedicated Teaching Assistants. What our children receive in classrooms every day, encourages creativity, confidence, achievement and a love of learning. Walking around the school, feeling the ‘buzz’ of happy, engaged children is the privilege I have every day. Bowlish Infant School really is a very special school to be a part of.
If you join our school, your child will spend their days with staff who love working with infant children and believe learning is a life-long venture, which starts young. They will spend their lessons in carefully designed learning spaces, which are enabling and empowering. Staff will celebrate your child’s academic success while also recognising how success can be measured in many ways, with your child’s personal and creative development being valued equally.
Every day in every lesson, our staff ensure your child is supported to build their sense of ‘I can’. When we believe we can, with hard work, we will.
If you’d like to know more or would like to visit so you can feel our ‘buzz’, please get in touch.
