• Time Capsule

  As part of our 150th year celebrations, today we planted a time capsule 2 metres in front of a new apple tree; also planted for the occasion.  In the time capsule the children have put lots of information about the school and about events and objects of interest for the year 2019!  We hope that the capsule will be found to inform future generations about the current time period.

   

  

• End of Year Awards

  Congratulations to the children who were presented with awards at the end of term.  Children gained awards for gymnastics, 100% attendance, kindness, effort and achievement.  The Ben Halford award was presented to pupils for a range of positive reasons!  We hope that the children enjoy their awards and prizes.  

  

• House Points Cup

  Well done to the Green Team for winning the house Point Cup!

  

• End of Term Disco

  The children enjoyed dancing on the school field for their end of term disco.  A wonderful end to the year and an evening to celebrate with our wonderful Year 2 children before they move to the Junior School!

  

• 150 Years Celebration

  Today was our 150th Year celebration at school.  The school community celebrated with a specially made cake, dancing, singing and a wonderful afternoon tea.  Visitors to the school could view photographs and other artefacts detailing the history of the school.  We are very grateful for the help and support that was given to make this event such a success.  Each child has been presented with a 150th year celebration mug which we hope they will treasure for years to come!
