Your suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. For this post, prior to appointment Bowlish Infant School will apply for a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, a Children’s Barred list check, two satisfactory references, satisfactory pre-employment health screening and a Prohibition Check in relation to the children’s workforce. A Declaration will be required to meet our obligations under the ‘Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006’.
Salary: Grade 15 Point 4, £12.64 per hour
Closing Date: 5:00pm on Thursday 3rd July 2025
Fixed Term from 1st Sept 2025 to 31st Aug 2026 (potential for extension). 32 Hours a week, 6 hours a day, 8:45am-12:30 and 1:00-3:15, Mon-Fri (with some flexibility).
Job advert:
Bowlish Infant School is a small school with 115 children from Reception to Year 2 who are catered for across 4 classes.
Required from 1st September 2025, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with 2-3 children (rotating throughout the day).
