Safeguarding Statement

Bowlish Infant School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Your suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process.  For this post, prior to appointment Bowlish Infant School will apply for a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring check, a Children’s Barred list check, two satisfactory references, satisfactory pre-employment health screening and a Prohibition Check in relation to the children’s workforce. A Declaration will be required to meet our obligations under the ‘Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006.

 

Salary: Main Pay Scale – M2 to M6

Year 2 teacher as part of a job share for 2 days a week, Thursday and Friday.

Required from 1st September 2024 to 13th June 2025 or until the post holder returns, whichever is sooner.

 

Bowlish Infant School is a small school with 106 children from Reception to Year 2 who are catered for across 4 classes.

 

We are seeking an inspiring teacher to temporarily join our team, covering a maternity leave.
