Sustainability

The sustainability and climate change strategy for education states: “By 2025, all education settings will have nominated a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan”. This includes early years settings, schools, multi-academy trusts, colleges, and universities.
At Bowlish, we are committed to building a sustainable future and helping our children understand the vital role they play in protecting our planet. Sustainability is woven through our curriculum and everyday school life, encouraging pupils to think carefully about the world around them and the impact of their choices. From learning about recycling and reducing waste to exploring nature and growing plants, our children are given practical opportunities to care for the environment. By fostering Curiosity, Connection and Compassion, we aim to inspire a lifelong commitment to sustainability, empowering our pupils to make a positive difference both now and for generations to come.
We have an active Sustainability Action plan, which is driven by our Sustainability Team.
